I’m French and born in 1980 in Strasbourg, France. Having done my school and university in Strasbourg, I finished my studies in Canada at HEC Montreal. I started my career with CIC Bank as an equity trader in 2004. In Nov 2006 I went to Singapore to set up the Merger Arbitrage desk for CIC. 

I love sports and like to challenge myself. I thought about this project a few months back but I absolutely don’t use to do bicycle. Having started my training only 3 months back for my first participation in the OSIM Singapore Triathlon in August 2009.

The source of my inspiration began in 2006 when I successfully completed “Le Marathon des Sables” across the Sahara Desert covering almost 240km supporting IRCAD association (Research Institute for Cancer of Digestive System) located in Strasbourg, France. After completing one of the hardest running races in the world, I wanted to find another challenge to carry on promoting some charitable associations.

I believe everyone can give something of their own for the welfare of others. However small my contribution might be, it seems crucial for me to help causes that so many volunteers are fighting for all around the world.

My first challenge was about running. My second will be about cycling as I want to emphasize the part that each of us has to play to protect our planet.  As bicycle is the green mode of transportation I believe it is the best mean to carry my message.
